Food Assistance to Students

If you are a Virginia Tech undergraduate or graduate student interested in food assistance through the Market of Virginia Tech or other options, the first step is to contact the Dean of Students' office.

Open Market Hours

Open Market Hours are times that any Virginia Tech student can drop in at The Market and access our non-perishable pantry. No sign up, forms, or screening required!

Spring 2026 Open Market Hours

January 22-May 1

  • Thursdays: 2-6 p.m.
  • Fridays: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Extended Open Market Mours

  • Wednesday, January 14: 12 p.m.-4 p.m.
